Who are Affinity Fine Jewellers?
Hi, we are Andy & Lauren, Husband and Wife duo who founded Affinity towards the end of 2019 when we decided to look for a new joint venture. A local well established jewellery store was about to close down and retire and we saw an opportunity for starting our own business.
Having a background of web development within the Jewellery industry and both having previous retail/customer service experience we decided we would start our own jewellery company and open our first store.
Affinity Fine Jewellers opened its store on the 6th January 2020 and we pride ourselves on product quality and outstanding customer service. Our aim was and still is to provide bespoke Jewellery items without the heavy bespoke cost and to offer a more modern way of choosing and creating Jewellery.
Within a short period of time we found our feet and they well and truly belonged in the bridal jewellery sector. We were seeing an increase in customers struggling to get wedding rings to fit around their engagement ring without an annoying gap so we adopted the idea of offering a ‘mould kit’ shaped bespoke service. This allows the customer to create a perfectly fitting wedding ring without the hassle of parting with their engagement ring. Our unique process allows us to offer a shorter lead time and a competitive price in comparison to our competitors.
Over 2 years on and the Affinity shaped service is a massive part of our business and is going from strength to strength, along with traditional bands and engagement rings. It is this high quality, passion and hard work that has led to Affinity Fine jewellers being shortlisted at the UK jewellery awards in the ‘Bridal Jewellery retailer of the year’ category in both 2021 and 2022 and we couldn’t be prouder.
